The Brits used aerodynamic flying wires on many of their aircraft including the Dolphin. WnW instructions called out 0.1x0.3mm in 1/32 scale

I found resistance wire in 0.4x0.1 mm

In contrast, I used nylon thread in the Felixstowe Flying boat earlier in this thread.

Exquisite sir, look at Berkshire junctions elastic wire. It’s amazing stuff made for rigging etc.

But he is looking for the prototypical correct flat flying wires (used on camels, pups, SE-5,etc)
There were some made for specific WNW kits by a RB productions from Eastern Europe.    But those photo etch parts are very rare now
