Always a tad unwholesome when an animal like that shows no fear of humans. That’s an unpredictable animal and likely to bite…and rabies sucks.
Possums generally aren’t that skittish. They are slow and docile. Came across a possum with it’s head in a garbage bag munching away once. Thing was completely oblivious that I just walked up on him. I gently tapped him on the but with my foot and it just slowly turned to look at me and snarled. Then proceeded to go back to eating the trash with no fucks given. |

Can't shoot because in the city. Fast forward: (Now) wife has been instructed that if it ever happens again at our new digs (especially if she has a tag to fill) she'd better take the shot or divorce papers are in the works. |

About 24 years ago we had a couple of babies get in our house somehow. The wife was like the guy in the video, when she called me at work. She did trap it under a big pot. I came home and released it in the woods behind the house.
Next day she found #2 and insisted it was the same one and made me drive it 3 miles away and dump it in the woods. I should have kept one for a pet. |

Something's wrong with it.
I had one come up to the house in the daytime and figured out ot had been rolled on the highway but not killed. A suppressed rimfire round and a scoop shovel later and things were back to normal. Except for the possum. |

Had a new Bosnian neighbor a decade ago. He ran across one when he was cutting doen a tree. Next thing you know he is at my door babbling who knows what but I could tell he wanted to show me something so I followed. There on the ground was a slightly bloodied Possum. The whole family was staring bug eyed at it. I smiled and walked over, he tried to stop me but I kept going. I grabbed it by the tail, they all gasped. I them held it up and told them it was pretty much harmless. I put it back down and told them I was going to get a shovel to take care of it. As soon as I turned my back the bastard scurried off. Went through the fence and into someone elses backyard. I chuckled, shrugged my shoulder and went back in to watch TV.
I have no idea what the Bosnians though afterwards but I had a good time and that's all that mattered to me. |

Good thing bro has a lifted truck for mall crawling. Scared of a tortoise shell possum so you know he’ll never go over landing with his “rig” that he “built”.

I chased an armadillo in my back yard yesterday, hit it with a rock; they are pretty fast, they don’t seem very bright.

Quoted: Seeing a possum in the day is unusual but doesn’t mean it’s sick They’ll come out in the daylight hours if they’re not having any success finding food at night, especially if they have babies They’ll also come out if their home has been disturbed by people or other animals My neighbor was cleaning up the area behind his shed and was surprised to find one living under a big pile of twigs and leaves, it popped out and casually walked away to find another place to live View Quote Ya, I have one at the house that is out occasionally during the day. I think my cat goes and wakes it up for fun so it gets out and wanders around a bit He will also sit up on a shelf in my detached garage in the evening and watch my wife do laundry, it creeps her out but I think it's hilarious so Bob-o gets to stay |

This popped up in my FB memories today from 5 years ago. Let the dog out to pee one night and she

And before yall pile on with the ad hominems, this is a Canadian attorney who put significant effort into breaking down the Rittenhouse trial, is 100% on our side of things and essentially migrated to Florida from Canada after what Trudeau did to the truckers.

If I had to think of any animal to show up on my porch face to face, that one would be my preference.

Wife would deal with them. Pick them up with bbq tongs, put them in a trash can and transport them to the local wildlife sanctuary old oil pumping field.

People here commenting without knowing the backstory. Viva had to flee government persecution in Canada. That was a hit squad possum sent by Trudeau, hence his reaction. He's lucky he survived and that Trudeau ran out of killer moosen.

Quoted: They don't carry rabies due to too low body temp. EDIT: Saw it's already been mentioned. Should have known. They don't carry rabies due to too low body temp. EDIT: Saw it's already been mentioned. Should have known. It doesn't have to be rabies. That animal looks and acts sick. I don't care why it's sick, I'm not a possum doctor and I'm not going to take it to the possum doctor. Possums are cool and I like possums but there's zero upside to having a sick possum hanging around, especially if you have your own animals. |
