But I would say that usable training facilities are a good thing. I want good, competent police and firefighters, and part of being good/competent at anything you do is training, practice, and learning from those. Now maybe it's a boondoggle? |

Why the hell would I be against something that is intended to deliver what I want? Better educated/trained cops? Thought that's one thing we could all agree on, but then again, it's GD. Isn't that a good all around? Not like there are consolidated training facilities/courses for any other profession out there. And while multi-million dollars *sounds* like a lot, a whole new facility is going to cost a lot no matter what it is. I know, I'm currently working in a shitty building that has holes in the roof.

So, yep, nothing to see here. If a "few thugs" isn't worth being upset about, is there a magical numberthat have to be throwing Molotov Cocktails, etc, where we're apparently now allowed to be upset about? Just askin' for normal Americans. This reads remarkably like an echo of The Magical Marxist Mulatto Clown, Bolshevik Joe Biden, the Soviet Democrats and their street thugs in Antifa and Black Liars & Marxists... the ol' the police are systemically racist, go hunting unarmed black men doing absolutely nothing criminal, hands up don't shoot, defund the police, etc. I suppose it will inevitably come to demands for ARFCOM to cancel any member here who wears or ever wore a police uniform. You know, because they're enemies of the people as evil agents of the state. Whether it's the Soviet Democrats and their Marxist Useful Idiots and parasites shrieking "the rich don't pay their fair share" while others who presumably are on the other side of the political spectrum are also vilifying and demagoguing The Evil Rich, or the mutual hatred of the profession of policing and police... sometimes it's really hard to tell the difference between them. |
