As usual, Farah is dead on.  I too have the Aburish book, and Farah's statments about Aburish's views on Arafat are on the mild side.  Also, it should be noted that the author, Mr. Aburish, is himself a Palestinian Arab who is no particular friend of Israel's. Aburish does, however, see that Arafat and his cronies are crooked self aggrandising scoundrels who are more interested in personal power and lining their own pockets than they are in a functioning peaceful Palestinian state.
