I'm not sure how much power you need but I have a site that sells a spotting scope that I can see 30 cal. holes at 300 yards. The site is Orion Scopes and the scope I use is the short tube 80mm that sells for $199 (or did).

Good luck! I'm using a Kowa TSN 821 with a 20-60X zoom and I doubt if I could see a .223 hole at 350M. Maybe in the buff of the target, but I doubt it if it were the black.
All depends on the condition, too FWIW |
