Wow, the complete lack of emotion or animation in his voice is really creepy. I guess that is the difference between a nut and a sane person, or one of the differences anyway.

I'm sure I'm not the first to point it out, but 10 minutes from time of call, letting them know where he was, and what happened to officers on scene....

When seconds matter police are minutes away.

I remember a few months ago when I was staying at my parents house, our neighbor was going through brain cancer. When it was inevitable he was going to die, he got super depressed. One night, I heard what was probably fireworks, but could have been gunshots. I rushed upstairs Glock in hand to see if my parents had heard anything. My dad wasn't sure if he'd heard gunshots, and my stepmom was horrified my first reaction to it was to grab a gun.
