will get to it eventually. I really don't like torture horror... Though, if it is more about the building dread than the gore it can have some value perhaps.

A double feature of Audition and Irreversible is a great summary of the dark side of the modern dating scene.

Other solid movies from this guy: Ichi the Killer (my favorite of his), and from the Masters of Horror series: Imprint.

He also directed 13 Assassins - which was a fantastic Samurai movie.
