I don't have the gun right in front of me, but this photo should be descriptive enough (from https://activesafetydesigns.com/troubleshooting/):

https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6739ac799feafc19da659e00/ec60d6ac-c72f-4c9c-bf33-a43ded7e923c/WeightCut.png?format=1000w

I turned the upper over and retracted the BCG until the AZR fit in the sear pocket, then pushed the bolt forward until it contacted the upper leg, then used a steel scribe to mark a line on the inner face of the BCG weight. It was about 3/16" of an inch of material to remove (in depth) and back along the length of the BCG weight until it reached the trip surface on the full-auto carrier. I did it with a large file, but a bench or belt grinder would make quick work of it. Just make sure to keep the flat surfaces of the material removed in the same plane (parallel) to the through-hole for the roll pin that holds the BCG weight into the carrier.

Now that is a sweet little package.
Do you have pics of any material removed from buffer weight?

Statement on all the Geissele posts

Well here’s the thing folks.

Funny how ONLY HERE has this come up

I do not get phon calls on the tech line

I do not get emails from customers on it

Only here which would indicate that it is an intent to defame thing

Ain’t that a bitch that I have to play child’s games with allegedly grown adults

I know I have pissed off the whole AR trigger world and I don’t really give a fuck

Have y’all noticed the box trigger frt guys took a swipe at me early here along with the super safety guys

That didn’t work and if folks remember I fired a warning shot and all those guys disappeared

Why would they disappear. Because in those wanting shots I told them all to back the fuck off or I would make another item and crush their portion of the industry.

They also know me personally from phone calls at they have tried to get me to license to them. Nothing more than those calls connects them to me. But we “know” each other to say the least

Box trigger frt you say. Yep. I can probably give y’all at least 6 versions in less than a month. Same for super safety once I informed that in public they disappeared.

So they shift to disconnected in milspec triggers

That didn’t work to defame me

So they shift to Geissele triggers

That didn’t work

So they shift to my flag that I made with different font cause I wanted that font

That didn’t work

So they keep beating the Geissele drum which is not my problem if they changed something after I released the ARIZONA REGULATOR back on July 4 24. Which has already been shown to be fact by the man that posted his trigger is fine and showed he purchased that trigger in July 24

Still won’t accomplish the goal they think they are accomplishing. And I kinda think it’s not anyone associated with Geissele. I think it’s the propaganda machine that is run by my opposition.

Whatever....

What it will do is piss me off to the point that I say fuck it and make a precision two stage trigger on my wire edm

And if I do I’m going to make one that is just normal AR trigger but match grade. Drop in replacement for all ARs.

Which is why I don’t think Geissele folks are in this bashing shit. They are watching same as the whole world is.

They saw me fire a warning shot at box triggers and super safety’s. Why would they want to poke a fuckin dickhead like me and have me step into their market segment.

No sense for them to do that. No want on my end for me to do that. But if it has to be to shut the fuckin propaganda machine up that is what I’ll do.

And one that is a box frt that is match grade

And a fuckin super safety that is match grade

I’m done fuckin with the whole thing y’all

Push it and see where it goes......

Can you give us the internals info on those guns

Something would not be within milspec if you can’t drop an M2 in and rock

I know some old bushmaster uppers have a smaller pocket. A man called in and had a whole box he bought at a gun show back in the day like that.

Newer stuff I don’t know. But if it’s machined to milspec colt upper like almost everything is then you’re good.

May have to keep very straight and wiggle to get it in on some. I made them right in my Colt uppers when I crated this thing

( eta the 6.8 is interring. Is there some kind of difference that I may need to address and possibly create something to make 6.8 good. Kinda like I’m going to have to do for 22lr )

If there was any real issue, I guarantee it’s operator error.  Case in point, I went to take pics to post and the first thing I noticed was the Bushmaster had a SA carrier in it.   Oops.

Here is the pics of the LWRC 6.8.  The carrier has a 1 5/8” tail.  I did not take out the OEM disconnecter and replace it with the one you sent.  I’ll try that next.  The M2 did fit in the upper pocket the way it should on both.

Hey my friend,

No one at Geissele is bashing you or trying to trip you up. Trust me that any posts that seem to be this do not originate at Geissele.

That being said we made a really great forced reset trigger back in 2013. Just never brought it to market but we did post it on YT. I think it was taken down several years ago.

Seems like a really cool product, may have to snag one.

One question though, and please forgive me if it's already been answered. Why do the buffer weights need to rattle?

Asking because I generally use Spike's T buffers that don't rattle like a standard buffer does. I do have extra mil-spec buffers in my parts box, so no issue, but i'm just curious.

Thanks!

The principle for how the buffers work is the same as a dead blow hammer and it ensures the bolt carrier doesn’t bounce off the face of the barrel. The sliding weights create a hit that keeps the carrier pushed forward so it doesn’t “bounce” out of battery

To build off of what Bill stated, we can assure you that these are not coming from us or anyone that represents Geissele.

For those looking for the video we will attempt to locate it, and if we can find it we will be happy to post a link!

In the OP’s world, when your mutual customers report to him that he designed to an older version of your product, they’re shills for his enemies. Shrug. If you read the thread it’s pretty clear the disconnect with reality. There’s pretty much only one person taking this stuff as an attack rather than honest feedback.

The buffer weight rattle is what give the buffer a legit dead blow effect

Thanks man

Looks pretty normal except the tail on disconnctor looks like a short one from the pic. Usually there’s only maybe .050 ish gap at selector.

The one I sent should make you boogie

The carrier tail is a bit shorter but it looks like it should disengage our unit

Easy in-depth check is flip upper

Stick unit in

Hold unit down into pocket

Pull carrier back by hand

Hold unit in pocket it’s going to want to lift since there’s no lower in place for it to capture

Move carrier rearward to engage unit

Then slam carrier into battery

Should engage and disengage on the bench like mine does

Even the shorter tail carriers have not been an issue. I’ve never had calls or emails on them

Or you can just swap disconnector and function check

Less work that way

Haven't read through all 16 pages yet.
Is the SSA. Model compatible with the G2S trigger? I can’t tell much difference between the two.

Received my SSA model today. Haven't tried it live yet, but it seems to work with my Geissele Super Tricon (SSA with different bow) and one of my SSA-E X's. The Super Tricon is in an 11.5" SBR and I can't get that rear take down pin fully in with the AZ Regulator installed (2010/11 era PSA lower and Colt upper receiver). The SSA-E X I tried it in is a full Geissele 12.5" SBR build. It almost doesn't tap at the tightest point when doing the tap test, but the trigger resets if I let the BCG go home. I'll try to get it out this weekend.

Geiselle’s FRT being available for sale would kill the entire FRT market. And I wouldn’t even care because geiselle is that good…

The rear take down pin thing can be from not having the hammer cocked when you close the receiver

Kicks tail of trigger down and makes easier to close

Hammer forward keeps the tail of trigger up and shortens the avail area. On g triggers you also get resistance from the disconnector same as milspec M2 disconnector resistance. Comprising the spring

If you read my post a few post above, I got my AZR a couple days ago and bench tested it with my G2S.
It seems to function ok, but I have not live fired with it yet. Hoping to try it this weekend if the weather permits me.

Got fuckin quiet didn’t it

Now let’s drive the fukin spike home with a sledge hammer

A **REDACTED** ARIZONA REGULATOR drive system would conquer the box trigger frt market

Which won’t effect what I do as folks still want my OG Stoner AR Mil-Spec and other triggers that I set up on

And some just plain ol like the drop in unit to have fun with when they want to and pop it out when they do t want to use it

( ETA 07-22-25  **REDACTED** Means any trigger you may decide to try with our new AZR-15M2-R unit configuration.
We will no longer name other triggers unless the manufacturer submits a letter to use asking us to name thier trigger(s) as we have received a Cease and Desist from one trigger manufacturer.  Many brand triggers out on the market may fall within this **REDACTED** parameter which means triggers that have a disconnector that will push down into the trigger bar which is the condition which makes this a factory Pre Set 100% Drop In as stated herin.  You can modify the top of a Mil-Spec Disconnector to use with this unit so the disconnector pushes down into the trigger bar if you want to set up and be able remove the unit and shoot normally whenever you like.

Hammer position apparently doesn't matter in that lower. Just can't get the pin all the way in. I bench tested in 2 other builds today. A second SSA-E X and a standard SSA-E. Appears to work with the second SSA-E X but the trigger is dead in the SSA-E. I get it isn't advertised to work with the SSA-E, but I am just trying to put some feedback out there for the Geissele triggers I have. I've got a new SSA in box sitting on the shelf, but I'll be happy if it functions live with the SSA-E X's and Super Tricon.

My Super T appears to have the longer disconnector like the older SSAs.

I don't believe the length of the disconnector is at issue, tho.   I think its the top of the disconnector.

And I have to say "believe" and "think" because the answer the manufacturer is willing to give about that specific issue in his thread about asking him questions about his device is "watch this video."   The video doesn't make it terribly obvious to people who aren't him, tho.  And I think that's a problem he doesn't yet realize.

@GACS  What's up with different disconnectors in the SSA?   Is it a year of manufacture thing?   Is it even a real issue?

If you watch the fitting video it will clear it up. Take your trigger out , remove the spring , and push the back of the disconnect down and it needs to be flush with the top of the trigger bar.

That's what it looks like.  Not a length of disco per se but the top needs the right profile and the longer ones appear to have that.

I say "the" longer ones assuming there is only one longer version of a G disconnector.  That's not really a safe assumption, either.

That was part of the reason I @'d them a page ago. I really wanted to hear from them since OP said he only has this problem with arfcom users.
When they skipped over that part of the quote I figured it may have been too close to their manufacturing process to comment.

I see the M2 is out of stock but the original is available. I'm tempted to get one just to see how it works. (engineer)
For those that have bought these should I wait for the M2?

Yep the M2s in this run are all sold

More M2 coming as always in next block

The next block won’t get released for sale until the current block that are sold all get shipped and folks see their usps tracking number moving ( that’ll be next couple days ) ( eta then there’s days like today Saturday. All current orders will get boxed up before I go home for the day. Most orders will see track move today some will get boxed after post office is closed those will track Monday )

Then I’ll add the next blocks of units to the site for click and buy. After mail ins are covered of course
( eta when boxing is done after post office is closed i will release next units for y’all since those boxes are done and only need dropped at post office next day they are open )

Yes the original AZR-15 is able to do everything anything in our M2 series does

I call the AZR-15 the do all since it’s litteraly the base for all the M2 series

We only did AZR-15 for almost a year and everyone just set that one up however they want to

Then I went ahead and did the M2 series which is factory preset for each trigger I spec

That device doesn't look like it has a way to unlock the trigger for firing if the BCG stays closed, unless I'm missing something.

We have had revision over the years due to continuous product inprovement. The relationship between engagement surfaces is tested here at the factory, and we obviously cannot recommend modifying the trigger or disconnector out of safety concerns.

Unforutanately due to contracts we are not able to provide specific technical measurements, but we can say that the SSA's design did change slightly over the years.

Nope figured that was yours since that’s not a single function of the trigger item

Thus that’s NFA and we do t do anything like that

Correct

That looks like that thing they called a yankee google or some shit like that

Wont pass muster for single function of the trigger from what I can tell
