Bwahahaha! We crashed their server. Trying to take the ammo off the order now.
ETA: Anyone get one? When their server came back up, the lower is still in my cart, but now says out of stock. They've got pretty good deals on CMC cartridge triggers, but think I'm gonna grab a LaRue for less. |
|
I scored one after their servers came back online about 1230 Pacific. . 25 shipped is pretty damn cheap. Now to find the other cheap parts I dont have on hand.

Lucky you, post up pics when you get it.
We're back up to $285, stripped Matrix blems for $35, link in OP. |

$20 Field Sport from Amazon and $10 UTG low profile mount. Both get decent reviews here. I probably won't shoot it enough to break anything. View Quote |

Year old thread on ARF still ends up costing me money. 3 lowers on the way!

Joe Bob dun sold out - we're back to $40 Andersons, hence the bump to $290.

What are the odds of January White Sale deals being as good or better? Or will that be too close to the Dems taking over Congress (and therefore the beginning of another run?)

Wife killed the CC last week so I had to wait for a new card. Went back to order one of the PSA cheap rifle kits for the SNEK lower to be built and poof! Gone. The MOE version also bumped 10% to $330 rather than the $299 it was running. Guess I should've FO'd earlier. Now I have to wait until they tier down again. Damn it. $290 ARs are hard to time.
EDIT: Looks like the $330 variety is for the EPT build kit. Currently OOS of standard MOE kits...Thus the price difference. Here's to hoping or not hoping they show up again. |

You know you want to try a $250 Ceratac w/ the free float...

Edit: NVM... thought the HAWK came with a bcg... did want... now I'm a hold out. Still want to know how lackluster/ magnificent these are... Edit 2: Guess they didn't want to be a challenger for long and raised their prices. Fuck that. I'll stick with PSA for the $. |

Just an FYI for those of you who may need parts (especially takedown pins) Cavalry Manufacturing has been difficult to deal with and no help at all. I ordered some pins a month and a half ago and just got my order cancelled today because they don't carry the pins anymore, even though they were on their site. I had ordered from GWACS in the past, but figured I'd try Cav to see if they were any quicker on the delivery. Heh, no such luck. I tried to order again from GWACS today and got a payment processing error. Does anyone have a lead on another source for the takedown pins? I've found some half-assed solutions that work fine like some steel rods from the hardware store and "chicago screws" that may work in a pinch. Also McMaster Carr item # 90156A263 looks damn close. https://i.imgur.com/8IUWTp7.png Someone has to make these for them. Any leads or advice? View Quote @backbencher @SinistralRifleman |

@backbencher @SinistralRifleman View Quote I thought someone here had found the McMaster Carr product #. You can get adjustable clevis pins from Home Depot/Lowe's, and use some washers to cinch it up tight if needed. Not pretty but functional. |

My son and I ran two of these last week through a carbine class using some $300 PSA uppers.
About 650-700 rounds each, zero malfunctions, no issues, very pleased with the results. I needed to cut down the bolt catch spring and file the mag wells a bit to get pmags to drop free. |

Well done!
ETA: Updated the OP w/ a link to your post. Thanks much. |
