OK, here's the deal. Between GRAP and ESAR, every Army soldier and retiree (except for recuiters, as it's their job, sorry!) is eligible for a $2K cheque for any referral who successfully joins the Force. As mentioned in the GRAP thread, there will be an organised list of mentors from which a prospective recruit will select. The plan is that a potential recruit will go via the ArfCommer, who will mentor him through the soldier entry process. So, we need a list of prospective mentors. I know some of you already reported in on the other thread, but please sound off again here, together with a couple of "keywords" we can put after your name. For example, I'm an NV Guardsman in a cavalry unit near Reno, fresh from a CalGuard tank unit in Northern California, where I live. Thus, my keywords would be "Guard, Armor/Cavalry, Northern CA, Northern NV" Thus a recruit could select by branch or geographic area. Again, between G-RAP and ESAR, almost everyone currently serving appears eligible for this deal, as well as Army retirees. NTM |
I am in the Michigan Army National Guard My MOS include 13P (Field Artillery MLRS) 31B (Military Police). I work for recruiters in the recruiting office so I can answer just about any question you have about benefits, bonuses, availiable MOSs, etc... Want to know about the new Active First enlistment option that will net you up to $60,000 in bonuses just for signing up and let you serve up to 48 months on active duty? I can tell you all about it. I know for ESAR the prospective enlistment does not have to be from your state. IM or email! ETA: Sorry, this post was meant to be a edit. I got excited!

Nice try, go away . Just kidding, I don't see why not. A lot of people have questions about ROTC too, you probably have the knowledge/experience to handle those.

Currently Armor, but have also been Engineer and Signal. Started out enlisted, commission through OCS...currently BN XO for the OCS Battalion for Region C (SC, GA, FL, NC, PR) and CO for the WO program for SC, GA, FL, NC, PR and VI). I can help with Warrant Officer questions as well. Have served as TAC officer, Sr. Instructor, OCS Company Commander, among many other assignments in 19 years. |
