Well, National Guard MP was your first mistake  and I have know idea what a "Navy Master at Arms" is.The Guard has been good to me and had I not liked it, I could have quit after my first enlistment. I'm over 20 now and will probably go for another three years or so until "I pull the pin". YMMV |

Manic Moran: I don't know if I would say disgruntled, more like frustrated. But, I am more than willing to help answer any questions someone might have. Hopefully they won't walk into any surprises like I did. The Guard does things a little different from the reserves. Sorry to take so long to reply, I was at Drill. |
Was the surprise you walked into the 855 "all cool cops" or the 860 "odds'n'ends" MP Company? Should be lots of openings soon for 11B slots in 1/158 Bushmaster Infantry.... and the Reserve CA guys in Phoenix are hiring too. |

I am a Recruiter in Alabama National Guard. I don't want GRAP or ESAR money, and can't get it anyway. But would love to have anyone interested in Special Forces or Aviation in the South Eastern United States referred to me. I work for the 20th Special Forces GP and 131 Aviation. We also have Infantry, MP, CAV Scouts and every other MOS that any state would have too. But the SF and Aviation are only in certain states. I was AD before I became a Guard recruiter, and Guard recruiters can actually recruit for the Active Duty now so if nothing else, I have lots of knowledge and am willing to just answer questions for ANYBODY regardless if they join with me or not. |

Guard 11b (Infantry) Now I'm a contracted Cadet on my way to becoming a 2LT. I can answer questions with Initial Enlistment, Choosing a Job, prep for the ASVAB, GA Military Scholarships and other educational benefits you qualify for, as well ROTC information and any other qustions you have I can find an answer to. This is a cool idea. I've already had three folks enlist through G-RAP and now (Because I accepted a fed-tech position in Salem) I "think" I have to use the ESAR side but, if anyone wants some help here in Oregon they can get me at "Treadhead" and then..... Guard,Armor/Cavalry/Engineer, Northern OR. 19K/19D/11B/21B and 92Y have all been on my '214 at one time or another over the years (I like variety lol) and I've done the RA and 'Guard side so, hit me up.

Good to see MN checking in! I'm a new guy in the Minnesota Air National Guard - Duluth F-16. If I can help to answer anyone's questions, don't hesitate to drop me a line, preferably via board email.
