I'd say they were more going after AAC stuff than KAC, if you look at some of the triple prong flash hiders they all look the same. But a little "pot meet kettle" to be talking shit about a guy saying he is talking shit about stuff

| I've had a couple interactions with Kevin. The first time, he was extremely generous and nice. The second time involved a threatened lawsuit because of a silencer design. A short letter from an intellectual property rights attorney quashed that little threat. That was his MO for awhile, as many people who remember him from the 2006-2008 time frame may remember. He loved to use the threat of a lawsuit to get people to stop selling anything which might compete with AAC. Many people caved in, but some people knew enough to call his bluff. |

I don't know much of him other than some of his history with aac, sig and his posts on the hide. Comes off as an arrogant ass most of the time. I'm curious what led to the falling out with Bartlien.
That said I own one of his Fix rifles in 6.5 and it's pretty sweet. |

| I remember having to deal with him when he was a member here. I'm fairly certain I'm the one who banned him, but I'm not positive, and can't look because I don't remember the screen name. His wife was a bitch too. I would never buy anything from any company he's associated with. NFW. It doesn't take much to be polite and respectful, and just plain decent. He's none of those things. |

But this forum is filled with people who have crazy ex-wives who make shit up or otherwise drive them up the wall. I’m just suggesting we not jump to conclusions about a guy’s personal life on the forum. He might well be a dick professionally, and the evidence is certainly there to back that up.
