I've had a couple interactions with Kevin. The first time, he was extremely generous and nice. The second time involved a threatened lawsuit because of a silencer design. A short letter from an intellectual property rights attorney quashed that little threat. That was his MO for awhile, as many people who remember him from the 2006-2008 time frame may remember. He loved to use the threat of a lawsuit to get people to stop selling anything which might compete with AAC. Many people caved in, but some people knew enough to call his bluff.

I don't know much of him other than some of his history with aac, sig and his posts on the hide. Comes off as an arrogant ass most of the time. I'm curious what led to the falling out with Bartlien.
That said I own one of his Fix rifles in 6.5 and it's pretty sweet. |

I remember having to deal with him when he was a member here. I'm fairly certain I'm the one who banned him, but I'm not positive, and can't look because I don't remember the screen name. His wife was a bitch too. I would never buy anything from any company he's associated with. NFW. It doesn't take much to be polite and respectful, and just plain decent. He's none of those things.

For what it’s worth, I don’t know the guy, but I do follow him on IG and he seems to be a pretty great dad to his kids. That alone speaks volumes to me.
