How do you load ammo into it then? With AR-15 it's easy, you just pop it open.

Take the baseplate off the magazine, remove spring and follower, dump ammo in (in the correct orientation), stuff follower and spring back in, replace baseplate.
ETA: Do Steyr AUG magazines have removable baseplates? |

I'm sure someone could work up an AUG magazine release that didn't function if the hammer pack were in place for instance. Don't freaking JB weld firearms. |

I'm with the Counter-Intelligence Agency. Wrong. You ain't seen nothing yet. Is that a British way of saying bolt-action? If so that won't do; I need a 1/3 armed and fully operational battlerifle. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Where do you live that you can't have a rifle with detachable magazines?
More importantly, have you verified that JBWelding a magazine into a rifle will legally count as non-detachable? |

Does AUG have the same ejection port as AR? View Quote I’d be more concerned about what it’d hit on the inside as opposed to fitting through the port. |

No, that’s why I said “something similar”. Might be able to modify that one to fit also. I don’t have an AUG, and even if I did, I live in a free state and would never need it. I’d be more concerned about what it’d hit on the inside as opposed to fitting through the port. View Quote |
