I will deposit the check and wait before shipping.
Thanks for everyone's input.
I recently sold some extra brass on the EE. My buyer hasn't been good about keeping contact. In fact, I've sent 2 emails and an IM since he said he would buy the brass and I haven't heard from him. I was getting ready to simply sell the brass to someone else when lo and behold I got a check in the mail today.
The check/money order is drawn on a credit union in Alabama. However, I specifically told the buyer that I would accept a "USPS Money Order only." Given the buyer's inability to follow instructions and respond to my messages I am inclined to put my brass back on the market.
I have called the CU and the check appears to be valid, but my spidey sense is tingling.
What says ARFCOM?
