Just wanna say here, I'm the one who brought up the stock question. While targetshooter and I didn't do a deal, I did chat on the phone with him, and he is a good guy. I sent an e-mail to the stock manufacturer about the stock, my inquiry and their reply received today, is posted below. This rifle is a good deal.
The stock in the photo was designed by one of our customer's and he sells a lot of these styles. We believe it would be strong in the wrist area for a .22.

Hello, I'm considering buying a rifle that has 1 of your stocks on it. I am concerned about the narrow "bridge" between the grip and buttstock, it seems too easy to break to me. Do you make stocks of this design, or did someone butcher one of your thumbhole stocks? Also, what does a stock like this cost? Thanks (see attached photos)
