OK, I'm just getting started in reloading, so Im in need of a good o-ring press, a digital scale (I prefer the model that talks to the powder trickler-I think its an RCBS), a tumbler and a good set of 7mm WSM dies.
I picked up a bunch of .308 match stuff in another trade deal thinking Id probably get a heavy .308 sometime to play with. But I think for now I'll concentrate on the one rifle I'm going to use to shoot at Elk with this fall. The .308 stuff is as follows:
2500 Lake city 173g VLD .30 cal match bullets- I am told this is what our military shooters use in their "special match" competition and sniper ammo.
500 rnds .308 Federal GMM nickel plated brass still boxed
500 rnds Winchester .308 bagged brass (new)
RCBS match micrometer loading dies in wood case
Looking at the Midway catalog, the dies and brass would cost around $350, I'd have to assume the bullets are worth at least what decent FMJ's would cost giving me a value of somewhere between $450 and $500. I'd sell the lot for $400 cash (plus shipping of course) or trade it off for a good loading setup of comperable value (of course I'd look at other trades as well-guns, etc...!). At this time I do NOT want to part it out, everything will go to one home ! Drop me an email if you have any ?'s, I have pics of the bullets/brass availible if you need them.
Also any advice on loading the 7mm WSM would be appriciated! Thanks- chad
