Since aggravating a previous back injury I am finding myself spending less time in the saddle. I have decided to sell one of my bikes. This particular one was a bike that I built using a 2005 Scattante XRL frameset that I purchased in October of last year. The frame has only had 550 miles on it from general road riding and some commuting to/from work. The parts are a combination of take offs from a previous bike, and new parts that I had yet to use. As a plus, for someone searching for a good beginning bike at a great price this great ride weighs in at approx 18# when using the very accurate "bathroom scale" method....
Here is how the bike is set up-
54 cm 2005 Scattante XRL frame (includes carbon fiber fork w/aluminum steerer)
Ultegra 9 spd STI shifter/brake levers
Front and rear Ultegra brakes
Ultegra double front derailleur
Ultegra 9spd rear derailleur
11-21 9 spd Dura Ace cassette
105 Bottom Bracket
Weyless Team carbon fiber 53/39 175mm double cranksent
Dean titanium seatpost
Shimano 105 (PD-R540) SPD SL pedals
Hutchinson Carbon Comp Tires
3t Prima 220 Aluminum Handlebars
Performance 90mm 8 deg stem
Performance Forte SLX Saddle
After spending time doing some online research I have been able to determine that I could do this build in the range on $1000-1300 (between parts sites and eBay). This leads me to my price of SOLD, but I am willing to listen to reasonable offers.
I may consider shipping but the buyer must understand that shipping usually runs in excess of $60 including insurance. It really is my wish to keep this sale to the greater Phoenix area, and possibly to Tucson or Flagstaff. Click here for review of frame set
I can e-mail larger pics to anyone that is interested
Thanks for looking!
