Novak/Robar Para Ordnance .45ACP with Novak Low Mount night sights (need freshening, I priced them yesterday @ only $175, as the cuts are already made.)
This gun is the ultimate carry package, with 13 + 1 in the spout, a completely rustproof finish, excellent controls, firm stippled grip, great low snag sights, and unbelievably crisp trigger.
No expense was spared. I chose the best parts from everyone when having this pistol built, and then had two of the best shops in the business put it together.Installed from Novak's:
Carry Bevel Package, Kings Match Bushing, Wilson slide stop, Brown
Memory Groove beavertail, Brown hammer and mainspring housing, Dlask (medium)
magnesium trigger, and Harts Recoil-Reducer full length guide rod. From Robar:
Detonics thumb safety (the best), front strap stippling, Roguard slide (black),
NP3 finish on frame and all internals and controls. Trigger breaks at around 3 pounds, and that's probably generous, as the NP3 slicks it up from the teflon embedded in the nickel.
I have one NP3 plated 13 round mag, and several blued ones.
Nearly $1500 invested in gunsmithing from two of the best shops around, on a $600 (plus extra mags) gun. The finish alone is nearly $400, and the sights were over $300.
$1400 OBO, plus s&h, with two mags. Additional hi-cap mags @ $40 each.
