This is an early model (SN 00408X) CAI Cetme. It has the cast receiver (I think) and is in excellent condition. Here’s how it shakes out:
·Wood furniture with the BLO/rubbed beeswax finish in excellent condition with no scratches or gouges.
·Metal finish is excellent with only a couple of tiny rub marks where the stock goes on and the charging handle locks. The bottom edges of the mag well is shiny where lightly and filed the surfaces flat to accommodate the G3 mags.
·The bores on these early guns were rated as good and this one has some frosting but no deep pits. It is as accurate as this type rifle comes. At 50 yards, I put 5 shots into less than a 2” group (with a flier). Then again, I’m half blind, so it’s irrelevant.
·When I got the gun, it had zero bolt gap. I put oversize rollers and a newer carrier in and it now measures out at .010” snugly. I have since put 300 rounds through the gun without any hiccups. The sights are a little high but I always the 200 meter diopter because I can’t make out the open sight.
·The gun has a flash hider and bayonet lug.
·Included in the package is one NEW unused Cetme mag, a 5 round hunting mag, 6 alloy G3 mags in very good to excellent condition, 3 German mag pouches, original Cetme sling with keeper, and a Cetme bayonet with scabbard. I’ll package everything in a black codura tactical rifle case to pad for shipment.
