Lots of us have use Fulton for years with no problems. I'm one of them.
So, why should I have to call them for any reason? I ordered a product that was advertised as something completely different. Not the point at all.
When you order something that is pictured on a site, and you get something that is obviously NOT what you wanted to buy, damn right I'm going to complain about it.
It would be like ordering a forged Colt lower, and getting a cheap ass carbon fiber one. Perhaps if it were simply a case of the wrong part being shipped, I would call and get a solution. This was an obvious case of trying to pass a cheap POS off as something worth something. As I posted, the photo was of a laser specific mount. What I GOT was a cheap 1" scope base and a piece of plastic to jerry rig a mount. Totally different than a company mistake, wrong part, or unintentional error.
Even if I ship it back, I'm STILL stuck with paying shipping both ways, which again, is more than a 1" scope base is worth. (they charged me 10 bucks shipping one way)
Thanks Bronze, I'll give her a call. I took some photos of this laser mount and some of my Tasco 1" scope rings for comparison, and will post them here once I get them uploaded.
The main thing that peeved me was the fact that I spent at least an hour comparing prices and availability of a list of things I needed, with many different places online. I chose Fulton because they supposedly had the Armorer's blocks in stock and for 10 bucks cheaper than anywhere else online. The laser mount was an afterthought, and I figured since they had them, I'd get one. The way this thing is set up, I could have just wrapped my laser in eletrical tape, and used one of my many 1" scope mounts here, and accomplished the same thing.
