Took a few nights but I believe I've got it set up how I want it. Main reason I got it is I had pulling stuff off and on my CR Speed belt. I had a Safariland 5188 a buddy gave me, picked up some 773 mag pouches off here and set up my dedicated 3 gun rig.

Im a 33 - 34 waist, so I got a 36 belt. I don't believe I could fit any more on it. Here is what it consists of:

032 Belt

5 ELS Kits

QLS Holster Attachment

5188 Holster

6 Mountain Man Engineering Shotgun Caddies

2 Safariland 773 Magazine Pouches

1 Bladetech AR Magazine Pouch

After a few practice secessions, I am very happy with this set up. Very easy to change my gear on the belt during practice. It's first test will be The Rockcastle Pro/Am this weekend. Can't wait!

I've got Mark Otto carriers with tekloks.  Will the ELS clips bolt right on?

FWIW,

There's a group buy over at BoomerShooter.com as one of the members has a 50% card from Safariland he has to use up by the end of the year.  He's going to get a full ELS kit for himself and figured that he'd offer it to others.

Do you have to drill and screw on those special grey clips to all your shell holders and holster to fit them on the belt?

The new Mountain Man caddies come already drilled and tapped. The older ones were not.

What safari land holsters interface with the ELS kit?

The ELS is the small clips. I wouldn't trust them with a holster. They do make the QLS - it's the larger clip. As far as holsters, do a seach for QLS Holsters - the only one I know will work is the 5188.

Sorry, I have the OLS for the holster.

I am also trying to figure out if my Otto shtshell holders will interface with the ELS clips.

It looks like the QLS fits the 5198 holster

The ones I got from Mark last summer did. They are drilled/tapped for the ELS or the Tec locks.

I've got my Otto shell carriers set up on my ELS belt.  The screw holes for the Tek-Lok on them line up with the ELS clip holes.  You'll need some slightly longer screws and washers.  I used 10-32 x 1/2".  The 1/2" were slightly too long so I had to cut them shorter.  The holes for the Tek-Lok on my Bladetec holster lined up similarly.  For my pistol magazine pouches I just drilled holes in the belt clips and bolted them on.

I just set up one of my Blade Tech holsters to work with the QLS. the 2 top holes lined up between the DHO and the QLS, but I had to drill an extra hole in the DOH to line up with the 3rd hole on the QLS. It is very sturdy - I shot a match with a full dust cover 2011 and it stayed secure the entire time.

Where's the cheapest place on the internet to get the Safariland 030 Outerbelt and the 032 InnerBelt?
Best I've seen is on CopQuest for $42.56 for the Outerbelt.
Thanks.

That was about the best. Only place I found cheaper was at www.holsters.com when they had a 50% off sale last summer - don't know when or if they will be doing it again.
