i am looking for a sunshade to use on my scope. have looked at some gun sites and just do not see this accessory. does anyone know of any other sites that carry these so i can buy one for my 6x-18x42mm tasco scope?

Try Natchez Shooter's Supply. In my latest catalog, they list a rubber sunshade. Don't know how well it would hold up, though.

they had what i was looking for but only for the leupold brand in 40mm and 50mm. my scope is 42mm...
