will a bushmaster dcm upper fit a colt a3 lower?

What's an A3 lower?  The thing that makes the various rifles A1, A2, A3, etc. different are the upper configs.  Differences between lowers are pivot pin sizes, trigger and hammer pin sizes on Colt politically correct lowers, and whether there is a mag fence or not.

If the lower you are looking at is a small pin, it will work fine.  If it is a large pin, it will work with the BM upper with an offset adapter.

I believe it should but the pin sizes may be different.

bushmaster sell some special pins which will allow the two to work together.
