Hey fellas, On an old set of pvs-5 goggles. Left side works great.... right side starts out good when there is ambient light, then as less and less light becomes available, green "water ripples" appear? Tube shot?
Any Ideas? |

The boiling effect usually occurs with high light and is caused by the power supply causing burst of electrons in sync with the oscillator attempting to fill the electron holes that are caused as the photocathode electrons are depleted. I guess it's possible to occur in darker situations, but I can't think of what would cause it. It might be a faulty PSU. Regards
