Long story short I got a round stuck and tried to get it out with my press.
It came out, but the decapping rod is bent, I got pissed and I chucked it in the woods as hard as humanly possible. Cheap lesson for being stupid and not showing a little patience, but i was wondering where i can just get the resizing die and not buy the 2 die set?? also whats a good recomendation for lube? I have been using the lyman spray lube, and it worked find until today. Thanks Free |

I think Lee will send out a new sizing pin,
otherwise its only $16 for the two die set which is what I did in a similar situation I use Lee lube |

LEE should send you a new pin.
As for lube, look into making your own. Many threads about it. Great stuff.......and cheap.

Use Imperial lube. Follow the methods from 7zero1 or 1911smith up in the Gateway thread.
Dillon and home made spray works great, too, just don't spray too much and give the lube a little time to spread around the brass on its own. Otherwise removal is painful. You'll have to check the usual sellers for a single die, I don't recall seeing LEE dies sold that way as the sets are so cheap anyway. Buy yourself a nice Redding or Forster die instead, the cost and quality will give you second thoughts the next time you get mad. |
