I just ordered up 800 more rounds of .303 at sportsmansguide, its back in stock in cases of 400.  just a heads up, this stuff seems to be hit and miss with availability, its got to run out eventually too....avoid paying the $0.40 a round now and get some while its there.

Expected availability Feb 10th.

They have two different product codes, WX2-20324 & WX2-99433, same price, same quantity, what's the difference?

ya got me on that...  if your talkin about the 400 rnd cases, maybe because they had it in stock (with ammo can supposidly) , then they were out of stock, then back in stock (without ammo can)....

go figure, my last order was supposed to come with cans, but instead came in a cardboard box , loose.

Expect about 5-10% hang fires.  Otherwise good plinking ammo.

I called earlier today....

Out of 100, 200 and 400 lot orders.

You must have bought it all.

really?  I hope I get my second shipment of 800rnds in....

Im sure others bought it up quick....  commercial .303 runs almost 50 cents a round, and thats something I cant afford.

5-10% hangfires you think?  Ive shot a few hundred rounds of this ammo in the past, and I had maybe 1 or 2 duds, as for hangfires, I cant recall any.

What do you think is the single best place for the cheapest overall surplus ammo on the market?

Some people report fewer hangfires but 5-10% is the norm.  I still picked up more because it saved me the time of reloading.

This was the best deal out there for plinking ammo I've seen in a while.

I should save my spent .303 brass?  Someday I might get into reloading for the .303, it would be worthwhile...when it really dries up...

I would save any reloadable.303 brass. This will be a heavy reloading item in the comming years.

I got lucky about a year ago.  I got 1,000 new nickel plated cases free from a neighbor.

S&B make the caliber and the Prvi partisan (Wolf Gold) also make it for a decent price.

This stuff is Berdan primed, non reloadable.

It can be reloaded, but it will take more effort and more expensive less easy to find primers.

It is not bad doing it oncee you get the feel for the decapping tool but very slow compaired to bboxer primed. I keep all of mine just in case.
