Their website does not reflect their real time inventory.
That is a deal breaker for me. Nothing worse that thinking you FINALLY found IT, only to receive an email the next day stating it is in fact backordered. The woman on the phone was very nice, though. |

www.opticsplanet.com is another. Their "in stoke" inventory has been a flat out lie for years. I quit them after giving them a chance......waited 4 months for a spotting scope that was "in stock". No more orders from me since. Will be adding 10-ring to the no list.
I like Midway USA and Graf & Sons. Both are honest with their inventory. I once ordered an RCBS product Graf's showed as having only ONE in stock. When I finished the order, their web site showed "out of stock" that fast....that's as real time as you can get. |
| I had the same thing happen at 10 Ring yesterday. I ordered there based on a positive review I read here. No OOS message, so I ordered... got an e-mail about an hour later saying sorry, but they don't have. They were nice enough / prompt with the e-mail, but I'd rather not throw my CC out there only to find out they don't have realtime inventory. |

Used to go their quite often for powder/primers but then I discovered online orders for such and even with hazmat/shipping alot cheaper, I know a brick and mortar business has to make money but about two years ago I was wanting to get 24# of IMR4895 and after looking at a online retailer I thought I would give Bob and his group a chance to beat or at least match the price with included hazmat/shipping and they were $74 more so guess where I ordered from.
They are nice folks and if I am wanting to try a new powder or primer I get it their but bulk orders can be had at a better price elsewhere. YMMV |
