If you are getting a new barrel from Krieger I expect that it is 'short chambered'. This will allow you to install it on your action and time and set the headspace.

To do this you will need more than HS gauges. You will need a lathe to set the barrel shoulder back to set the barrel timing. You will also need a finish reamer to ream the chamber to final spec.

At the same time you will need the HS gauges to make sure the finish reaming is done to spec, You will have to check your reaming progress using the HS gauges and your stripped bolt.
