OK, I have filed a few Foem 1's in the past.
Has the ATF changed their mind? Typically I have left box 4h "description" blank. Now I am hearing that there needs to be information in this box. Is this correct? Thanks |

The only thing you're supposed to put in there is other markings on the firearm. For example, your trust name and city, state. I've left some of mine blank, and some have the trust and location.
If you do put something in there, it won't even show up on the form. I'm not sure if the examiner even sees it. All my Approved eForms have an empty box, whether I typed something or not. They have slightly changed the paper version of the form, which makes it seem more like it's required...but eForms still uses the old one. |

So is the Eform the only way to fill out the form 1 and type it up that way? I'm having some difficulties filling out the form as far as typing in the information..there is a PDF Filler site that will allow me to type in the information and then proceeds to charge you for using their site...any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!! |

I filled out a paper F1 a couple weeks ago (just because I wanted another real stamp) and used the typewriter tool as well. It worked out just fine.
Somebody had a link to a fillable one here not too long ago. I'll find it and edit my post. ETA: bottom of this page. |
