Can I get some true first hand opinions on the ACR? Not something that has been read on a blog, post, etc...real gun in my hand, pulling the trigger stuff. I really love the look of this rifle and I have no problem with Bushmaster, I own a couple of their rifles already. I'm just curious to how it shoots & feels. I know that there are far better rifles on the market that can outperform this one, but i'm not interested in those at the moment...I just want a new toy that I can shoot every so often and looks good doing it. I've held one at a gun show once but that is it....wanted to break it down but was not allowed. They treated me like I was walking through an ancient Egyptian museum and couldn't touch the artifacts...sucks!!! Anyway, if I could get some genuine feed back, I would surely appreciate it.

I put over 2Krds (of mostly wolf and mostly suppressed) and my ACR never had a gun related failure.

I would like to know if they really have 1/7 twist, 5.56 chambered barrels now. Because before they didn't (only .223 and 1/9 twist), and now that they claim they do, no one has seen any.

5.56 chamber, 1/9 twist is all thats available now.

I had one. I liked it. I'd like to get another one and SBR it, but time and funds don't allow that to happen right now. Some day I'll have one SBR'ed. Mine shot fine for the 1k or so rounds I put threw it. No failures of any kind, jams, etc.

Mine has about 1200 rounds through it w/ zero malfunctions. I have shot. Everything from wolf to hot 5.56. Best ergos on any gun I've handled.

Is that thing firing full auto in the rain video?? If so how the heck did you get a f/a acr?
