GI Brat
Is that the new Bushmaster Varminter upper?? How do you like it? TIA. |

The Varminter Rifle is GREAT! Everything about the gun is outstanding. If you get one, I promise you will not be disappointed. After buying this one, I bought two more. Bushmaster built me an A2 Varminter. GIB |

AHHH HAAA!!!!!!!!!!
So those are the two kids who took my banner at the BRC, and I'll never forget that face on the bottom, he is the one who tripped me & kicked me in the head!! Just kidding, GI_BRAT, LOL! You do know you will have to call me soon & get 4 more rifles don't you. Those boys & your little girl are going to want their very own Bushmasters!! |
That's a Vari-X2, 3-9x40. Nothing special, but I like it. It's nice and clear. Certainly better than most of the cheaper brands that I've tried. |
I've got that one setup for optimum eye relief and comfort. I'm not one of those guys that has his nose pressed against the charging handle anyway. |
where the heck can i get a tat like that? i want one! |

Jarrod & Ron were handing them out at the BRC, had to bring plenty home for the kids. They love the "SNAKE" GIB |

The Ol' Hubble:
OK, so we all know that didn't work, so here's the real pictures: The DCM AR, with an ATN 5x33L scope attached via a B-Square NATO Mount. "Cheekpiece" made by cutting a 1/4 circle out of a swimming pool styrofoam noodle, wrapped around and secured with colored athletic tape. Removable, Secure, and Comfortable. Off a bag, will shoot about 1 MOA. |

Dude, post that pic in the "Mujahadeen AR" post in the "Build It Yourself" forum. One from me... |
Dude, where did you get the cool free-float handguard? I have been looking for something like that for an SD project. Are they polymer/carbon fiber/kevlar, or can they be made in any of the afore mentioned? |

GI Brat,
how did it work? considering the eye relief? you did not even use an extended swan sleeve compared to other set-up....just wondering... tnx |
I didn't/don't have any problems with EER on my set up and those who shot it didn't mention having any problems. GIB |

I know it's not my rifle, and I may be making an ass of myself by responding, but... It just looks like he has a ArmaLite AR15(TC) upper on a Cav Arms lower. The tube is fiberglass. You can get them from ArmaLite. |
Rabbit9: Actually, it is an Armalite fiberglass FF tube. Thanks for responding in my stead GungHo.
iamquaker: It is a Leopold 3.5X10X50 Tactical. |
Not an AR-15, but a Stewart Wilson AR-10, Option 3, scope is a Leopold Vari-III 6.5-20x50 long range, 30mm tube, with fine line 1/4 mil dot reticle and beefed tracking system. Reticle is one mil at 10, .5 mil at 20.
