i am looking into getting a integral .22 barreled gun i am leaning to either a ruger 77/22 or a 10/22. can someone point me to some companies that produce barrels or guns for each. also what are some of the pros and cons, besides the semi vs. bolt and the 10/22 action noise. thanks mike

We make the OASIS which is a drop in replacement unit. Very lightweight. A bit different than any of the others out their. I have one on a Ruger 10/22 and with CCI Standard Velocity all you hear is the bolt clicking back and forth. Very fun! I also have one of our prototype 77/22 versions and the muzzle report is the same but without the action noise it is super quiet.

I prefer the 10/22 since there are a lot more options for accessories than the 77/22. I have a Burris FastFire red dot on top and it is like a video game!

The tan rifle in the picture is the one I have. Second one off the production line. I swapped the Aimpoint (pictured) for the FastFire about 6 months ago. Super light plinker!

I think some of the best integrals out there are made by SRT –– and they're not as expensive as some competing offerings.

John at SilencerResearch.com is supposed to do a 10/22 integral test in 2009. I'm going to keep bugging him until he does.

I would like to see these tested.

- Elite Iron $800
- Gemtech Oasis R $780
- Tactical Solutions Sawtooth, $750
- Rem 597 with AAC Firefly (not on AAC website)
- SRT Arms $625 + rifle
