In my opinion the HK91 collasible stock is good for making the rifle short to fit into small range bags and for looking cool. ![]() For any kind of shooting I prefer the fixed stock. My cheek bone sits right on the collasible stock frame rail, the rail is very skinny and it digs into my face. |

I have the wooden and plastic A2 and an HK A3 stock. The A3 stock is comfortable to shoot while wearing a heavier jack, but like previously stated my check weld ends up with my cheek bone sitting right on top of the rail. I got used to it. It has a well defined pyramid texture on the butt plate that is a little unfriendly if you are wearing a tee shirt. In my opinion the price is worth the coolness factor. It gets alot of attention at the range. Plus if you have spent $2k+ for the rifle, what's another $250 for the stock? On a side note I think the rifle should also come with a warning sign to place to the right of you for when you are shooting near others. I accidentally tagged a friend in the hand with a spent brass casing and it split his finger open. He was nice enough not to shoot me in his pain :) |
