I am having some issues trying to zero a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x20mm on my 556 Classic. As it stands, I have it dead on at 25 yds, but when I move the target back to 75 yds, my POI is a solid 4-5" above my point of aim. Is there something I need to know here?

At 25 yards you should be low about 1 inch to be "on" at 100 yards.  Try this link.

That's damn interesting. I thought I had the general idea, but I was not expecting a 25 yd zero to produce 10" of deviation at 200 yds. ()

I'm guessing the easiest thing I can do is group and zero directly at 50 yds.
