Its it possible to remove the  grenade launcher from these without ruining the rifle or is it part of the barrel? I would lke one of them but don't like all that junk hanging on the end.

You could look for a Model 59, which is a 59/66 without the grenade launcher, or you can order a "California Legal Yugo 59/66" from one of the dealers that is selling them. That's a 59/66 that has had the grenade launcheer removed and a dose of cold blue covering the end of the barrel.

I like the grnade launcher; it makes the Yugo a bit different than your run-of-the-mill Chicom or Soviet SKS.
