A family member is moving into an assisted care facility and their house is going to be empty for a few months. I'd like to help them get a monitored security system, hopefully without drilling holes and running wires. Are there good wireless systems, or any I should stay away from?
These are the requirements, any feedback on this config is appreciated. Cellular monitoring (land line will be turned off, cell signal is strong in house) 2 door sensors. 4 motion sensors (3 main rooms and the hallway where the bedrooms are). I don't plan to attach sensors to the windows, hopefully interior motion detectors will catch an intruder after they've come through the window. |
