When I was reading up on the performance of the Agulia Mini-Shells (buckshot) I read somewhere that the Winchester 1200/1300 would feed them without the use of a adapter.
Well a Win. 1300 Defender came my way for cheap today so I bought it. 18.5" barrel, 8+1 capacity with 2.75" shells. I tried the mini shells and they fed/extracted just fine and the gun holds 12 of them...11+1. A also tried a combination of 1.75", 2.75", and 3" shells in the mag tube and everything worked just fine.  Attached File |

That's good to know.
I'm really only interested in the minis for use in my Tac-14...in which they reportedly won't work even with an adapter.

It fed and fired the Aguila mini shells perfectly. |

Gonna have to give these mini-shells a chance. Thanks for the report. Also been eyeing the Hogue furniture for the 1300.

I have a 1300 Defender and it feeds Mini shells (slugs) without a problem.
