I can't seem to find this answer.   I understand that there are differences between the gen1 and gen2 tubes.   Can anyone confirm?

No, don't try to turn it. I did and had to drill and tap it to make it work.

Me too I just drilled it out and have to go an buy a tap for it.
What tap size did you use??
