Gents,
Need an 870 expert here.
I have an old Rem wingmaster that I wanna swap the trigger plate/assembly out with a newer Rem 870 Police trigger assembly.
However, I notice the new assembly has that flexitab, will it still work with the old wingmaster bolt carrier?
Or will it not fit? Ive been told the flexitab requires a new carrier plate and assembly.
Thanks

The major difference is the bolt, not the carrier.
The bottom front of the Flex-Tab bolt is beveled.
Some people report that the Flex-Tab still works with the old style bolt.

In any case, the newer trigger group assembly will work with the old gun, but whether the Flex-Tab feature works is uncertain.

Thanks,
being that the wingmaster was made in the 50's i'm not too sure.
I'll just have to borrow a buddys express model trigger group and see if it plops in.
