Tried to get a G-27 yesterday in Salt Lake City. Went to Sportsmans warehouse in Salt Lake and Ogden. No dice. Went to a local Sporting goods store here in Logan. No Dice. A pawn shop guy says, sure I can order you one, but I think he is full of shit.
I was told by these stores that they had absolutly no idea when they could get more glocks and that thier supply is pretty bare. Has anyone been to Impact Tactical in Ogden lately? They have them on the net, but none with night sights. Do they have them in their store however? |
Maybe I need to bust down their church doors and tell them to knock it off so us methodists can get some guns.

Go on the web, find what you want, order and pay shipping and the the FFL fee to your local. Must be that regional thing I talked about on another post. Prices and availablity seem to be a regional thing. Lots of Glocks here in South Florida. Got my four and looking to get one more, G35.
Lots up here in Michigan. Seen them several places, and at glock days the shelves were over full.
It's an appropriate name. Mesa PD loves to get on the trigger. |
You can have all of them you want. The only use I can safely find for them is a paper weight.
I wounder what the Mormon Death Squads aka Mesa PD's bag limit is? |
Lotboy, you should come down to Gilbert. PD is a little more laid back. Not as trigger happy
Hey, milhouse. I'm testing for Gilbert PD at the end of May. Are you with Gilbert or just a resident? |
I'm just a resident. I have a good friend on the GPD. He said they need officers bad. If you are 1/2 way decent you will make it. He tries to get me to join all the time. No thanks
It's good to hear that they need Guys, cuz i'm sick of the Accounting Gig.
Really? When did you hear this? About a year ago when i was working at Caswells the G-27's were hard to get for about 3 months. This had alot to do with the fact that Glock tools up for "one model at a time". And this info came from Glocks Western US rep. More than likely whats going on is that they havent made a run on 27's in awhile and the wholesalers are a little low. |
Glo1,
your are asking questions about the mormon conspiracy. be careful or some missionaries will be knocking at your door. ![]() |
It's called a joke! |

LOL! sorry im listening to head banger music and i didnt notice your sarcasm. I couldnt tell you how many Mesa guys carry a 27 as backup, since most of them carry 23's and 22's as primaries. Interchangeable mags ya know.
You're DARN right we do ![]() |
I bought 2 Glocks last week
![]() My dealer keeps 10 or 15 Glocks on the shelf all the time... |
Safely? My Glocks never go bang till I Squeeze the trigger ![]() |
I live in SE OH w/a lot of drunken hicks who hafta sell all of their worldly possessions on a weekly basis to keep up w/ their bar tab, so the pawn shops are full of all types of firearms EXCEPT AR15s, a lil too hi-tech for us... but miraculously we got plenty o' glocks.
Lemme guess, a revolver man??? I love guys who feel that the safest guns on the market, although lacking in traditional external safeties, aren't safe enough. |
Lots of Glocks @ Van Wagenen's, Doug's Shoot N' Sports, and Rangemasters.
Try a dealer here in GA. We have a Glock factory here. Prices are mega-cheap for Glocks here. (And they are everywhere)
Too bad I don't use them. I wish we had a Sig Sauer factory......... |
Hmmm...must be a regional thing. The two gunshops I frequent in NW Phoenix have display cases full of Glocks.
I sell guns at my part-time and the 27's are the best seller. I'll get 5 or 6 in and they're gone within a week. All the glock "factory" in Smyrna does is take off the adjustable sights that all of them come into the country with and put on fixed or night sights. They also do service there. As far as cost, the standard models are usually around $435 wholesale. I don't know if Glock will exchange frames for individuals but they did for us on 2 that we had stolen and were damaged. Even then I think it cost like $60.
Van Wagenen's has one hell of a selection of guns. |
Here's where the Mesa PD guys get a good deal on Glocks - I prefer and use G21 with M3 light over the standard issue G22 http://divinefa.com/
A lot of areas are running short due to many different agencys choosing glock as a duty weapon.. Every little berg now has its Glock carrying possees... It's a part of "the development of the Deserts and Praries".. hehehe
Ya, me to! As a matter of fact, I know several that do. |
Amen. While I don't agree with them completely on spiritual matters, they haven't lost their backbone like most of the protestant denominations have. The preacher at the local United Methodist Church might as well be a tree hugging hippie. Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas... |
