Looking to pick up some various sized MOLLE pouches & just wondering who you guys suggest for high quality.  Maxpedition, Eagle, Blackhawk, TAD?

I prefer zippers over velcro

Heres a couple I was thinking of getting:

I like this cocoon pouch:

But to have the zipper on the front where stuff could fall out doesnt make any sense, it should have the zipper on the top to be more secure.  But its a great shaped/sized pouch.  The TAD I linked to above seems to be the only thing I can find similar to the cocoon pouch while having the zippers on the top.  Any one know of any other pouches in similar shape & function with a zipper?

I'm even looking for a pouch about half the size with a zipper, most I've seen smaller than that have velcro.

Maybe this one if I could fit it on the rig:

I don't use mine every day, or even every week, but I've found that if I stick with anything made in the USA I'm satisfied.  As to imports, I'd stick with Maxpedition or Emdom.  I'd say avoid Condor pouches - I have several on which the zipper has failed or the MOLLE webbing has come unstitched.

I have Specter, HSGI, OSOE, Esstac, Eagle, Maxpedition, Emdom, ATS/Lightfighter, and probably a few others.  All have held up fine.

You can find lots of good gear used on the EE.

OSOE, HSGI, and ATS are probably my favorite. But most American manufacturers are good to go. Gear can become a very personal issue. I have a lot of good quality gear, and each manufacturer does it differently. You have to find who builds gear the way you like it. John, Gene, Darrin and Stephen are good guys that have always done right by me. As such, I am loyal to them.

Everything I have is either ATS, Maxpedition, or Diamondback Tactical. As far as construction, Maxpedition gear is a beast. I don't see any of my Maxped stuff failing me from normal use in my lifetime.

ETA:

Lots of good GP pouches here.

My favorite stuff is Tactical Tailor and TAG.

I agree that pretty much anything i have bought from a major manufacturer and made in the USA has been good to go. Each company just has little differences in design one person may like more than another.

You can't go wrong with gear from ATS Tactical, Original SOE, Eagle Industries, HSGI, Diamondback Tactical, EGL, Tactical Tailor, SO Tech, Tactical Assault Gear, Esstac, Blue Force Gear, and CSM Gear...

I would have to add U.S.GruntGear and EmdomUSA.

I know that Emdom gear is not U.S. made but the quality is there. Every piece of Emdom gear I have purchased is top notch quality and nicely designed. U.S.GruntGear should speak for itself. You have to see the it to believe it.
