Ok, I have been searching the C&R list and can't find anyone with .303 Surplus ammo.

Who has it, is there a brand to avoid and how much should it cost?

Any surplus .303 that's around now is suspect.  The SA and HXP was the last good surplus and it's been gone for several years.

Roll your own or shoot new production.
