I'm looking at purchasing a lot of 1K (unfortunately cant afford more at this time) 55gr.  I need some suggestions.  they are basically going to be used for plinking/.

(Buring question: are golden west bullets in 223 same as  montana gold 223?

$77 for 1000 pulled 55gr from RockMountainReloading (Longdayjake here on Ar15.com)

Fast shipping, no pull marks. Havent shot them yet but I'm expecting 2-3MOA range based on bullet weights/meplat lengths

I stop in at Sierra Bullets once in a while.

They have a retail outlet that sells "seconds" for cheap.
Cute chick behind the counter sells them by the pound and scoops them out for you.

Their "seconds" are mostly perfect, sometimes on the 65 gr 22cal SBT's have a little tit on them that needs to be broken off.
Just grab it and roll your finger over it and it's gone.

Just FYI in case you ever get to Sedalia, MO.

I go up to Kalispell once every few years and get a load of MT Gold seconds. their .223 seconds last time (Nov 2009) were $50/K, they put the 1st 1k from every run into their seconds bin.  I weighed 100 and they were all 55 gr +-.01 gr. all shaped right and the channelure was consistant. way better than Win or Rem

Just bought 1k of Hornady 55gr FMJBT's from Wideners for $87.  Not as cheap as the 2nds above, but decent price for the Hornadys.

I get mine from Montana Gold.  Awesome bullets.  If you only buy 1000, they are a little more expensive, $110 shipped, but if you can find some buddies to split a case of 3500 they are down right cheap, $78/ 1000 shipped.
