Want to get as much weight off the thing as I can. It's a Vang Comp model, 18.5" barrel and 6 round mag. Bantam stock and ghost ring sights.
What options do I have?

Mine has the heavy walled barrel with a 9 round capacity. I'm in the same boat as you, but with strength comes weight.

Too much. :) I'm used to my 7# AR's, and this thing gets heavy to hold with ammo in it. Just looking to see if there are ANY options to lighten them up, forward of the stock. Behind the firing hand really doesn't give you any less weight when you're holding it up.
