Sorted, organized and tumbled some more brass, swapped the 5.56 components out of the 750 and swapped in .44 mag stuff. Then found out the 3d printed case feeder won't quite feed the 44 cases. I'll have to look into that later. Deprimed a few 44 mag cases while I was setting up, tweaking and getting a feel for the 750. Gonna be much fun when I get it all set up! |

A friend offered me 6 ea 500 rd boxes of 200 grn plated 45 ACP bullets for $30/box, an unopened 8lb keg of Unique for $187 and 4 bricks of Remington SP primers for $40/brick from his dad's estate. He never learned to reload as his dad always did it for him so he wasn't interested in keeping any of it for himself. I've taken him out shooting a few times and provided the ammo so he's paying me back by giving me the components at what his dad paid for them. He really likes to shoot my 45 Colt Uberti Model 1866 carbine and my Uberti 1873 rifle so I plan to take him out this fall and make some smoke. I'll use my already loaded 200 grn 45 Colt as I don't have any unloaded 45 Colt brass right now. I asked him what he did with the equipment his dad had and he told me one of his dad's reloading buddies offered him a deal on all of his equipment so he sold it. Most of it was old single stage press type equipment so my friend knew I wouldn't be interested in it. |

Emptied 2 wet tumblers, refilled one, last batch. Ran tumbler while I went to a buddies house to pick up a 5 gal bucket of mixed cases. Emptied tumbler and todays cases are drying under my shops ceiling fan. Got out the sorting trays and done sorting in a couple hours. The APP is going to see some use. |
