Runing the fast mags on left and right side ow do you find the off hand side for reloading, or do you use it for feeding some place elce on your rig? It's a CTOMS rig and comes with the bungie cord harness adjusters. I'm not sold on them just yet but being my first belt with a harness I'm gonna give them a shot. It's not that I don't have an off hand but I spend equal time shooting both left and right rifle and pistol so I try to lay everything out for both , of course my pistol is set up for left right now. I'm trying out the safariland quick detach system (MLS) so I can quickly switch holster bodies and my thigh rig to right or left to keep training equal. Might be a little different but it's what I'm doing. |

Anyone know where I can find a size chart on those 5.11 belts? I click on sizing next to description and it doesn't seem to be doing anything..
I have about a 42-44 inch waist if that helps, I may pick one up due to the price |

Why is it that no one runs any water bottle? I see plenty of ammo, knives, lights, and bleeder kits. Am I wrong that 1st line for the event you have to ditch all your equipment, except your first line? I roll a maxpedition nalgene bottle carrier with a survival bar in it, and a pocket sized water filter good for up to 20 gal. This should by me atleast 24 hours.

I kept a Gatorade bottle in my dump pouch for most of Operation Javelin Thrust. No reason you can't too.

Okay, I gotcha. However, water is needed for immediate survival. My hydration pouch only uses two molle loops, and is located at the seven o'clock position. |

I have mine (they do run a little small) and I have not had a problem with it yet (plastic buckle). I'm in the process of modifying it for use with some padded suspenders.

You might want to think about dumping the drop leg set up and running your gat on an extended shank for the holster. If you run a thigh rig high enough to be fast AND stable, you end up with a ball smasher. At least I do. I much prefer a 1.5" drop shank for my safariland rigs. Then again, I have huge balls. YMMV. |

Quick question for usng the basic LC2 pistol belt. Will any of the newer style mag pouches using the MOLLE straps or PALS system work on the belt? Or will the pouches be too loose. I was looking to use the Spectre UMP (Universal Mag Pouches) with my ALICE belt. These pouches are nice and allow the use of different types of mags to be used depdending on what rifle you have out. They also have similar pistol mag pouches.

The red tape on the mags doesn't help. My primary kit might all be in ACUcrap, but I have assiduously tried to remove as much black from it as possible, and to go with foliage green accessories where I can. I recommend that everyone else does the same, regardless of which particular camo pattern or color scheme they go with. |

Maybe he is left handed... ya i know the pistol is on the right side but if he is like me i shoot long arms left and pistols right, to me it makes sense That is correct. I'm right handed but left eye dominant. I shoot pistols right handed and rifles left handed. I thought I was the only one!! Good to have company.. |
