For extended range and accuracy the in-line would most likely be better but it has only ONE shot! What self respecting Staff Member of the ARF family would walk around with a ONE shot gun!
This is the home of the AR-15 rifle where we buy tens of thousands of rounds of ammo and hundreds of spare "clips" for some unkown cataclysmic event that is about to befall us at any moment and you want to enter the unkown and unchartered wilds of upstate NY with only one shot available to fend off certain attack by packs of marauding wild beasts!
What you need is an extended mag, a light, a side saddle, a bandolier, a pistol grip, a speed feed stock, a Vang Comp mod, gost ring sights, a rail from the tip of the barrel to the tip of the stock, a Ar stock, ..................................................
Nevermind, I forgot that we were hunting.
For sabot slugs I use Remington Copper Solids but there are several good offerings from Winchester and Federal. Many like the Lightfields. I hunt with several guys who have switched to in-lines and love them. Me I'm a shotgun guy so I will stick with my 870' s and 1100's. MIKE.
