I see a lot of pictues here of M1A's with the Smith Enterprise Vortex flash suppressors. My question is why is everyone using the DC suppressor instead of the standard replacement one? Is there more accuracy to be gained by using the DC and hot having the castle nut holding on the suppressor or does everyone else have a lot more money than I do and can afford the SEI sound suppressor that mounts to the DC flash suppressor?

personally I like the look of the DC better, it is a liitle shorter in OAL, and it eliminates the castlenut which in turn, eliminates the need for additional tools to remove, as well as always being able to tighten  to the proper torque.

The elimination of both the castle nut and the flash signature are what appeal to me.

-It eliminates flash, the standard one just supresses it.
-It is shorter, cuts a couple of inches off on my 18" LRB Tanker
-No tools needed to remove it, castle nut is a PITA
-I think it looks cooler, especially with the Gas Lock Front Site
