I have a 'friend' that is thinking about selling his unfired Vector MP5k but doesn't know how to establish a value.

I can't find anything about the value- the guns seem to have evaporated and nobody's selling them.

Any ideas?

I think that you'll have to look on gun boards and just watch for ones that come up for sale. Vector stopped making them a while ago. I would think that they would sell for a bit more that what the current C/A prices are. I think the C/A prices are around 1100 or so maybe 1500-1600 range.

A shop in my area had them (V89 pistol) marked over $1700.00 IIRC. I can't see how or why a Vector would be worth more than the latest generation of Coharie guns. For me personally I'd rather have a Coharie at $1200.00 not trying to slam anyone but I feel the receivers & parts must have improved over the last few years.
Then again I could be full of shit since I have no real proof of this.
