Uzitalk.com would probably be a better place to ask.

From looking at M60Joes site, it looks like he offers Uzi modification/repair work so it may be worth the time to shoot him an e-mail.

I recently had my Vector UZI (HR4332 FA) repaired/refinished by Vector and couldn't be more happy with the results of their work.  They vastly exceeded my expectations, and I am very picky about my firearms!  Call them up and ask for Grant; I'll bet that Vector can take care of you.

BWE Firearms is the company you will find highly recommended over at uzitalk.  I've never done any business with them, so I can't comment on their work.

while vector was briefly "out of business", i used BWE to cut the ramp out of my FS uzi SMG and weld in a modified semi-auto ramp. richard was easy to work with, and got the job done well.

i'd still probably use vector for further work since they have as much uzi-specific experience as they do, but BWE is worth checking out too.
